Cheers, races, and record-breaking performances filled the sports ground as our four houses competed for the championship trophy. Iqbal House took the title.
The sports ground came alive on Saturday as Greenfield's four houses, Iqbal, Jinnah, Quaid, and Sir Syed, competed in the annual Inter-House Sports Day. The day opened with a march-past and a torch relay, followed by track races, relay events, tug of war, long jump, and fun races for our youngest students in Playgroup and KG.
After a close contest that went down to the final relay, Iqbal House was crowned overall champion, with Jinnah House finishing a narrow second. Grade 9 student Ahmed Raza set a new school record in the 400-meter race, while Grade 8's Fatima Noor won the best athlete award in the girls' category. The parents' race and the teachers' tug of war were, as always, crowd favorites.
Physical Education Coach Mr. Kamran Butt thanked the students for months of practice and the parents for their enthusiastic support. Principal Dr. Nadia Rehman awarded medals and the championship trophy, reminding students that sportsmanship, teamwork, and effort matter just as much as winning. Photos from the day are available in our gallery.
